Behind the glamour, Chayla Forte's world is comprised of nightmares: PTSD cuts her soul while she combines brutality and chaos underneath a visage of luxury and femininity. One moment, she's posing with Aston Martins like the next Bond villainess—the next, she's picking apart every corner of her psyche with scrutinizing detail.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, Chayla is the survivor of a tumultuous upbringing: constant moves across the country, emotional dysfunction, and co-dependency left scars on her mind. She was raised in a musical household with a wide variety of genres and saw herself performing on stage as early as three; when she picked up a guitar for the first time at 12, her destiny was set. ​

Forte writes and produces 100% of her own songs, utilizing audio engineering skills she gained in MTSU's Audio Production program to her advantage. After graduating early with a 3.9 GPA, she began performing around the Middle Tennessee area and growing her following by acting bombastically on social media. Along with furthering her personal artist career, she fronts THE REAL FIGURES, a jazz fusion band based out of Murfreesboro, TN.

 

Her music has been described as dark and Reznorian, with heavy influences from industrial, pop, metal, and trap. Above all else, she wishes to share her voice and experiences with the masses.
